This model 'Diamond' is the creme de la cr?me among their range and, in addition to a very relaxed and stable playing position, also improves the acoustic characteristics of your instrument.
The patented 360 Degrees Celsius adjustment system made of flexible and strong steel absorbs the pressure instead of transmitting it to the instrument. Even under extreme concert conditions, this shoulder piece remains in place without clamping the instrument and dampening the sound.
After playing, fold the legs inwards to save space in your case. When you then reinstall your shoulder rest on your violin, there is no need to adjust it again.

Revolutionary because of it's 360 degree rotatable and foldable end members that minimize the length of the shoulder rest by 50 mm for transport or storage. The Bech Magnetic Mute is a mute system which ensures the highest quality of sound with no irritating vibration noises, making it the mute of choice for recording artist and serious string players. A combination of acoustic design, high-tech rubber and magnetic ingenuity, the Bech Magnetic Mute represents an important breakthrough in mute technology. They are available for violins, violas and cellos.

The Bech Magnetic Mute is easy to install. Simply afix self-adhesive pad to the tailpiece with the top of the pad extending slightly above adjacent strings. Then attach the mute to the bridge, in a similar way to a normal orchestral mute, with the magnet facing towards the tailpiece. When you have finished using the mute, take it off the bridge and slide towards the tailpiece where it magnetically attaches to the pad on the tailpiece.
