Nakorn Kitiudom is a double bassist and instrument repairer. He is a member of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and the Thai National Symphony Orchestra. He started playing double bass with Mr. Jolel Jenny at the Lysy International String Institute, Mr. Jeffrey Turnur, Mr. Stephen Tramontozzi and Mr. Joseph Charles Lescher. He studied at Chulalongkorn University with Mr. Samatcha Srivaranon and Professor Hans Krul at the Rotterdam Conservatory (Netherlands). He joined the ASEAN Youth music workshop in Indonesia in 1991. He was chosen as the Double Bass Principal in the ASEAN Youth Orchestra and also joined the summer camp with the Asian Youth Orchestra (AYO) in 1994, 1996 and 1997. He was the guest artist of the Chulalongkorn Symphony Orchestra in 2001 and he played the Koussevitzky Double Bass Concerto. It is the first time in Thailand for the Double Bass Concerto.
