The SH SB2 is a double side disc upright bass transducer which mounts either between the wings and the feet of the bridge or between the feet and the instrument's top. With this choice of installation the musician gets another opportunity to influence its tone.
Easy installation. Includes an attached 1/4” (6.3mm) output socket.
Note:
Piezo pickups and transducers have a very high output impedance. In order to get the optimum sound output we recommend an amplifier with low impedance input. |

The SH RB-PRO was developed with famous upright bass player Didi Beck and is the most versatile pickup system for Rockabilly and Psychobilly bass players.
It comes with two pickups:
Shadow`s world wide respected bridge pickup SH 951
Transducer SH 2500E which installs underneath the fingerboard to pickup the slap tone
The robust preamp and its unique sound controls allow you to realize your individual sound. With the pre-shapes and filters you will be able to adjust your individual Rockabilly or Psychobilly sound. Phase invert and subsonic switch will help you to avoid feedback even on the biggest stages. Wherever and whenever you need it, the built-in automatic, chromatic tuner is always ready. It responds quickly and precisely and its bright LED is unfailingly easy to read.

Our DUAL system provides guitarists with one of the most flexible options currently available.
LYDIA in combination with the RESOCOIL transducer enables you to create a wide variety of tones. Select either pickup individually, or blend the two. Simple to operate, a double rotary controller is mounted (with double-sided tape) inside the sound hole. Adjust the overall volume level using one control and the blend using the other.
The DUAL system includes an A-CLASS preamp and is supplied with two lithium batteries. Available for both steel and nylon string guitars. |

The Dual System is the most important Schertler product in the acoustic guitar amplification domain. The Dual combines the two main Schertler technologies, the electrostatic under-saddle transducer (LYDIA) and the electro-dynamic transducer (DYN).
The LYDIA, in combination with the D-DYN, enables the player to create a wide variety of tones. Either pick-up may be selected alone, or a blend of the two may be created. The flexibility of the Dual system is complemented by its simplicity; a double rotary controller is mounted with double-sided tape inside the sound hole. The black control is used to adjust the overall volume level, while the white control is used to adjust the blend between the LYDIA and the D-DYN.
This version is offered with a A-CLASS internal preamp with volume and mix (blend) controls. It is supplied with a 2 Lithium batteries. Available for Steel-String and Nylon-String guitars. |
